Avyth

Cookies & analytics

Last updated 2026-09-08. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. Here is the whole story.

Cookies

Avyth sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies, on this site or on any product site. There are exactly two things we ever put in your browser, and both are strictly necessary:

  • A sign-in cookie, set only if you log in to an Avyth product. It keeps you signed in across avyth.com and its product sites, and it is deleted when you sign out. Without it, logging in would not work.
  • Your light or dark theme choice, stored in your browser's local storage so the site doesn't flash the wrong colour on your next visit. It never leaves your device.

That is the complete list for avyth.com. Individual tools may also save your own work in your browser so it is still there when you come back — Payoff Lab, for example, saves the debt figures you enter once you calculate a plan. That data never leaves your device and we cannot read it, but it does persist on that computer until you clear it. Each tool says so on its own privacy page and gives you a way to clear it. Nothing here identifies you to anyone else, and nothing follows you to another website.

Analytics

We currently run no analytics at all. No page-view counter, no heatmaps, no session recording, no third-party scripts. We genuinely don't know how many people read this page.

If we ever add usage measurement, it will be a cookieless, first-party tool: no cookies, no IP addresses stored, no ability to follow you to other sites, and visitors counted with a scrambled code that is thrown away within 24 hours. We would use the totals only to see which pages people actually use, and nobody else would get that data.

When that happens, this page will name the tool and say exactly what it stores beforethe tool goes live — and a working switch to opt out for your browser will ship in the same release, alongside honouring your browser's Global Privacy Control signal. We're not adding a switch today, because a switch that controls nothing is worse than no switch.

Third parties

Our pages are served by Vercel and pass through Cloudflare's network. Neither sets a tracking cookie for us; like every host, they briefly log ordinary request data such as your IP address in order to serve the page and block abuse. We run no advertising networks, no social embeds, and no third-party tag managers.
