Text-based PDFs up to 50 MB. Scanned pages have no text to read, so this cannot split them. Your file is read on your device; nothing is uploaded and we never see it.
What you get free
Run the real split on any PDF, inspect every page range and filename, and download the first 3 documents as a ZIP.
What it doesn't do
- Splitting on invoice numbers needs a text-based PDF; scanned pages have no text to read, and the tool says so rather than guessing. If your batch is a fixed number of pages per invoice, the every-N-pages mode works on scans too.
- Up to 50 MB and 500 pages. The free ZIP contains the first 3 documents; the subscription includes every one.
What it costs
$5 a month on its own, or in Documents ($12 a month); every paid tool for $24. It adds: Unlimited documents per ZIP, custom filename patterns and saved templates.
