Publisher Rescue

Triage old Publisher files before converting them

A folder of aging .pub files goes in; a list of what each one is and whether it is worth converting comes out.

You give it
Microsoft Publisher .pub files, up to 64 MB each
You get back
A triage list: what each file is and whether it is worth converting
Where it runs
Reads in your browser · converts on your PC

What you get free

Triage your whole folder: what each .pub file is and whether it is worth converting.

What it doesn't do

  • The browser reads the files to triage them; it does not convert them. .pub is a proprietary format only Publisher itself renders faithfully, which is why converting means driving your own installed Publisher — and that kit is the planned paid tier, not something you get today.

What it costs

Publisher Rescue is free to use today, and there is nothing to buy. A paid tier is planned at $29 one-time — it would add: The rescue kit: a batch converter that drives your own installed Publisher, a check that every PDF actually rendered, a resume-where-it-stopped log, and a guide for after support ends.

It isn't built, so there is no checkout on this site and no way to be charged. When it exists it will appear on the updates page, with the date.

If it doesn't work

Email support@avyth.com and the person who built Publisher Rescue reads it. If it fails on your file, say what the file looks like — that is usually enough to fix it.
