What you get free
A complete archive of up to 200 public posts as HTML and Markdown with a linked index; images stay at their original addresses.
What it doesn't do
- Avyth's server fetches the posts, so this one is not browser-local. Public posts only — no login, so no subscriber-only content.
- Needs the original name.substack.com address; custom domains are not supported yet.
- Free: up to 200 posts and a 4 MB archive, images left at their original addresses. Subscribed: up to 2,000 posts, 60 MB, images bundled (up to 400 at 5 MB each) and an EPUB. Images hosted outside Substack's own CDN stay as links either way.
What it costs
$5 a month on its own, or in Creator ($8 a month); every paid tool for $24. It adds: Images bundled into the ZIP so it reads offline, an EPUB ebook of the whole publication, and archives of up to 2,000 posts and 60 MB.
One subscription, one invoice — add a tool any time, prorated. Sign in and it unlocks; or paste your key once per device.
