What you get free

See every public post it found and exactly what the archive would contain.

What it doesn't do

Avyth's server fetches the posts, so this one is not browser-local. Public posts only — no login, so no subscriber-only content.
Needs the original name.substack.com address; custom domains are not supported yet.
Up to 200 posts and a 4 MB archive. Images stay hosted at their original addresses rather than being bundled in.

What it costs

Substack Archiver is free to use today, and there is nothing to buy. A paid tier is planned at $19 one-time — it would add: Bundled images, EPUB output, larger archives and scheduled re-archives.

It isn't built, so there is no checkout on this site and no way to be charged. When it exists it will appear on the updates page, with the date.

If it doesn't work

Email support@avyth.com and the person who built Substack Archiver reads it. If it fails on your file, say what the file looks like — that is usually enough to fix it.
