Docparser alternative

Invoice Splitter and Statement Converter vs Docparser

Docparser is a general parsing platform with rules, credits and integrations. If your job is one of the two ours do — split a merged invoice PDF, or turn a bank statement into a table — the Avyth tool does that one job for $5, in the browser, with no credits to count.

What Docparser is

Docparser is a cloud document-parsing platform: you upload PDFs, define parsing rules, and it extracts fields and tables into Excel, CSV, JSON or your other apps through integrations.

What Docparser costs

Starter $39 a month for 100 parsing credits, Professional $74 for 250, Business $159 for 1,000; a credit is one document of up to five pages. Annual billing saves 20%. (from their site, checked 2026-09-18)

Choose Docparser when

  • You need fields pulled out of many different document layouts, not one job.
  • The output has to flow into other software automatically, without a person downloading a file.
  • Your documents are scans.
  • You process more than a few hundred documents a month and want it unattended.

Choose Invoice Splitter and Statement Converter when

  • Your job is exactly one of ours and you would rather pay $5 than learn a rules editor.
  • The documents are confidential and you want them to stay on your machine.
  • You want to see the result — every cut, every row — before a file is written.

Where each fits

A month's invoices arrive as one PDF

Invoice Splitter finds where each invoice starts by the invoice number, shows you every cut, and writes one named PDF per invoice.

A client sends statements instead of a bank feed

Statement Converter turns the PDF into a CSV or .qbo in the browser; the statement never leaves the bookkeeper's computer.

You already use Docparser for forms

Keep it. Docparser can split a PDF every N pages or wherever a keyword appears; Invoice Splitter finds the boundaries from the invoice numbers themselves, so it works when invoices run to different lengths.

Questions

Does Invoice Splitter extract invoice fields like Docparser?
No. It does one thing: it finds the boundaries between invoices in a merged PDF and writes one file per invoice, named from the invoice number. Field extraction is Docparser's job.
Can I automate the Avyth tools with Zapier?
Not today. They produce a file you download. If you need unattended processing, Docparser's integrations are the right shape.
What does a Docparser credit cost compared with an Avyth tool?
Docparser's Starter plan is $39 a month for 100 credits, so about 39 cents per five-page document. Invoice Splitter and Statement Converter are $5 a month each with no per-document count.
Can I use both tools for one price?
Not in one bundle: Invoice Splitter is in the $12 Documents bundle, Statement Converter in the $12 Money bundle. The $24 Everything plan covers both, plus every other paid tool.
